We are very pleased to have delivered in conjunction with Mesh Planning and CASBE, the Draft Sustainable Subdivision Framework Version 2 document to the Municipal Association of Victoria’s (MAV) Council Alliance for a Sustainable Built Environment (CASBE) subgroup.
Given Melbourne and other urban centres in Victoria are growing so quickly this is a significant document.
The framework is a simplified alternative to the other major sustainable Communities frameworks.
This work continues the leading edge and pragmatic policy and tool development work by LID Consulting. Other recent projects include:
- Georges River Council NSW ESD calculator tool – now live
- Merri-bek Council and Elevating ESD targets V2 – background studies and recommended Solar PV and EV standards for new developments
- Melton Council ESD Design Guidelines for all new development types – subdivisons, council assets, projects requiring planning permits
The SSF V2 Draft framework will undergo further testing by CASBE before release.
