Something to Chew On

Lunchtime Talks run by our outstanding ESD Consultants from Low Impact Development

Have you got a team with burning questions about ESD? Our outstanding Senior ESD Consultants are excited to be offering free lunch time presentations for new and existing clients. Bring your lunch and join us if you are interested in learning a bit more about what we do and staying up to date with current issues in the ESD landscape.
We are currently undertaking one session per week and can offer presentations on (but not limited to) the following:

  • ESD Essentials – why it’s important, the benefits to your project, an overview of ESD tools and frameworks, and tips and tricks for architects and planners when dealing with ESD in council pre-planning requirements.
  • Tips and tricks for dealing with the differing objectives of the BESS and BADS daylight/internal amenity standards.
  • Topic focused presentations for example on waste management, water sensitive urban design, daylight, energy, shading, the new Section J – 2019. (Optional on request)
  • Emerging trends and the future of Environmentally Sustainable Design and Development.

We have extensive experience in dealing with architects, planners, councils, project managers and property developers, and would love some feedback about certain topics you would like to learn more about or if a particular presentation mentioned sparks interest.
If you also have particular ESD issues with specific or more complex projects you are working on, we can tailor follow up workshops for your team or organisation. Other arrangements can be made for smaller firms.
