A very interesting article here about the critical importance of cooler roads, cool roofs, and more tree planting. Some challenges are also listed. For our part we are intrigued by the impact of lighter coloured aggregates often seen in outback roads. Something we are keen to investigate further to complement lighter coloured roofing and street and landscape tree density goals.
